How does a breast augmentation with Mia Femtech™ work in Switzerland?

The operation
The operation takes a total of 20-30 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia or twilight sleep. A very small incision is made in the armpit and the space for the implant is gently prepared using a balloon, whereby the tissue is only pre-stretched and not cut sharply. The implant is then placed under the mammary gland and in front of the pectoral muscle using a special injector without coming into direct contact with the skin or wound edge (no-touch technique). This gentle and precise technique preserves important breast ligaments and protects the mammary gland tissue, which enables fast and painless healing.
Recovery and aftercareAfter a short recovery period and care from our Mia concierge, you can leave our clinic again. Most patients can return to their normal daily routine the very next day and are also fit for work again. There is usually very little pain. A supportive bra is worn for the first few weeks after the operation. Exercise can be resumed in full as early as 3 weeks after the operation, which is significantly faster than with traditional breast augmentation techniques.
