In the course of life, the body's own production of hyaluronic acid already decreases from around the age of 25. Consequently, the skin loses elasticity and tone, becomes flabbier and forms small wrinkles. PROFHILO® is a unique, new and innovative anti-aging treatment method that counteracts this process. It is a non-cross-linked, highly concentrated, pure hyaluronic acid. The absence of additives makes the treatment highly effective and extremely tolerable.
In the PROFHILO® facial treatment, the product is injected under the skin with a fine needle at five defined injection points per half of the face (so-called Bio Aesthetic Points). The hyaluronic acid then distributes itself over a large area of the tissue and floods the facial skin with moisture from within. This immediately results in a natural, fresh complexion with increased elasticity. In addition, fine wrinkles are smoothed out. At the same time, PROFHILO® stimulates the body's own hyaluronic acid production as well as collagen and elastin production, thus improving skin quality in the long term. The skin appears smoother, firmer and visibly revitalized, which is why PROFHILO® is known as an excellent anti-aging treatment. For an optimal anti-aging effect, two treatments should initially be carried out at intervals of 4 weeks. Subsequently, we recommend a booster treatment after 6 months.
In principle, a PROFHILO® treatment can be repeated as often as desired. Initially, we recommend two treatments at intervals of 4 weeks. A refresher treatment should be carried out after 6 months at the latest, but may also be indicated after 4 months if necessary (for example, dry and stressed skin in winter).
In addition to the face, the neck, décolleté and upper arms are also popular and suitable treatment areas for PROFHILO®.
Yes, PROFHILO® can also be combined with other treatments such as fillers or botulinum without any problems. Simultaneous treatment is possible without any problems.
First changes are already noticeable after a few days. An effect due to the increased collagen and elastin synthesis can be expected after approx. 8 to 10 weeks. For an optimal and long-lasting result, we recommend two treatments at an interval of 4 weeks at the beginning and then a regular booster treatment approx. every 6 months.
The moisturizing effect of PROFHILO® lasts for about 6 months. However, there is a long-term effect due to the stimulation of the body's own collagen and elastin production, making PROFHILO® very popular as a valuable anti-aging treatment.
