Preservé™ is a special, minimally invasive procedure for tissue-sparing breast augmentation. It was developed to cause as little damage as possible to the natural breast tissue and to preserve important structures such as breast ligaments, nerves and blood vessels. The operation
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia with twilight sedation or, if desired, under general anesthesia. Through a very small incision (approx. 2.5 cm) in the inframammary fold, the space for the implant is gently prepared using a balloon, which stretches the tissue rather than cutting through it. The implant is then placed in front of the pectoral muscle using the “no-touch” technique. This innovative, gentle, and precise technique preserves important breast ligaments and protects the mammary gland tissue, enabling a quick and painless recovery.
Recovery and aftercare
After a short recovery period in one of our patient rooms with a view of the Rhine and care from our clinic team, you can return home. Most patients are able to resume their normal daily routine just a few days later and are also able to return to work. There is usually very little pain. A supportive bra is worn for the first 6 weeks after the operation. Exercise can be resumed as early as 3 weeks after the operation, which is significantly faster than with traditional breast augmentation techniques.
